Some of our white water rafting guests enjoy staying at the campground, enjoying the night sky and a crackling fire. Others figure they work hard enough on their rafting trip so they seek to relax in more cush accommodations. Lodging is usually the critical element of any rafting reservation, so make sure you book as far in advance of your trip as you can. Lodging fills up fast for certain events such as Bridge Day (Oct. 17) and Gauley Fest (Sept. 18-20), as well as other holiday weekends (Memorial Day, July 4, Labor Day and Columbus Day). Hot showers, picnic tables, fire rings, firewood, and a sand volleyball court make camping fun and easy.Campsites are $7 per night per person plus tax.
If you are interested in a more primitive camping experience, Babcock State Park is approximately 25 minutes from our location. Bunk Cabins
Our rustic bunk cabins are the perfect option for those who don't want to set up a tent in the rain, middle of the night, etc. The cabins sleep 2-8 people and have ample space for your gear. The cabins are $60 per night for 2-4 people and $10 a night per additional person for those cabins that sleep more than 4 guests. There are a limited number of cabins available so make sure you book your cabin early. Mattresses are also provided, but don't forget your bedding (sleeping bag, pillow, etc.).
