For only 6 weeks every fall the legendary Gauley River flows at a guaranteed 2800 cubic feet per second. That means an incredible, whitewater run through a remote wilderness area is guaranteed for rafters who join us during Gauley Season. River runners refer to the Gauley River in two sections; the Upper Gauley and the Lower Gauley and each provide their own formidable adventures. The Upper Gauley is world-famous for its challenging, tight rapids with extreme gradient. This run is not for the beginner rafter! The Lower Gauley is known for it's phenomenal scenery and wave trains as large as those in the Grand Canyon!
